Terry Baker, Realtor with Home Style and Design, Rupert

The Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors holds an annual fundraiser called Feed the Need to help local food pantries fill their shelves and serve the community with their food needs in Greenbrier and surrounding counties.

Over the past several years a total of $52,000 has been raised in non-perishable items and monetary donations. This is an ongoing project during the fall season and is overseen each year by Robert Bittinger, Coldwell Banker, Stuart and Watts Real Estate.

Many of the realtors set up tables at local stores and collect food items and donations. One realtor, Terry Baker, Home Style and Design Real Estate, baked numerous delicious pies and cakes just prior to the October meeting. These items were auctioned off at the October luncheon by realtor /auctioneer Paul Grist, Grist Real Estate Associates, Inc, Lewisburg, and helped send over $1,500 to Feed the Need.

Any persons or clubs wishing to help out with this project, please contact the board office at 304-645-1181.
