The Alderson Quilters & Crafters of Greenbrier County, Alderson, are hosting their 4th Annual Quilting Retreat Apr. 30 – May 2, at the Alderson Community Center. There are a variety of classes for beginners to advanced. We are excited to have NQA Certified teacher, Fran Kordek, as our guest instructor. (www.SubtleEndeavors.com)

Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. there will be a class medley showing eight different quilt ideas/techniques. In addition to a variety of classes, there are meals and an on-going charity project to sew.

Deb Ann’s Fabrics of Hillsboro, vendor, will be joined on Saturday by Itchin 2 Be Stitchin of Beckley.

The WV Quilters will hold their quarterly meeting at the retreat on Saturday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m. The meeting will be followed by Fran Kordek’s presentation on the West Virginia Quilt Documentation Project. We hope you will be able to join us for all or part of this retreat. To receive a brochure or if you have any questions please contact bmcoday@gmail.com.
