
The Progressive Community Educational Outreach Service Club (CEOS) met on Mar. 10, 2026 at the Extension Office. Also in attendance were members of the Tri City CEOS.
President Patty Gray called to meeting to order with a poem and welcomed all members present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read by Betty Jo McNeel and approved. The Treasurer’s report was given by Lynn Humphreys. I twas decided by all members present to donate $100 to the Community Food Locker, leaving a balance of $119.08.
Health motivator tips were given by Patty Gray on mental health, nutrition, and eating a balanced diet.
President Gray and all members present approved Progressive CEOS and Tri-City CEOS be merged together into one CEOS club. We will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at Ronceverte Baptist Church at 1 p.m.
The CEOS have combined their planned meetings for the remainder of this year. An updated officer list, meeting dates, and membership roll will be sent to all members.
Achievement Day will be May 19 at the WVU Building. There will be a $10 fee for lunch.
Lynn Humphreys presented the program, “Happy Healthy Hobbies.” She stated that many hobbies are more than just fun, they can make us physically healthier and mentally stronger too. Hobbies are essential for keeping our minds sharp, bodies active, and moods positive.
Next meeting will be April 14 at the Ronceverte Baptist Church.
The door prize was won by Patty Gray. Refreshments were served by hostess Sally Holliday to members Ida Lea Gosik, Melissa Gosik, Patty Gray, Sally Holliday, Lynn Humphreys, Betty Jo McNeel, Annette Thompson, and Drema West.
