Life in Lewisburg is about to get a little sweeter. The 8th Annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival returns Apr. 12. Plans are underway to make the festival better than ever; chocolate lovers everywhere should save the date. The weekend event includes an exciting schedule of chocolate themed activities including musical performances, dinners, tastings and fun for all ages.
In past years, tasting tickets for Saturday’s all-day Tasting Extravaganza have sold out, so festival-goers are encouraged to purchase tickets now. Tickets are being sold online at www.lewisburgchocolatefestival.com. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the following locations: Harmony Ridge Gallery, Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center, Greenbrier Valley Baking Company or ReMax. As the event nears, more information about specific chocolate offerings will be available, but they are certain to exceed the expectations of the most discerning chocolate aficionado.
The Lewisburg Chocolate Festival is one of the fastest growing events in West Virginia, and organizers are currently accepting new chocolate vendors interested in participating in the event. The Lewisburg Chocolate Festival is a nonprofit charitable organization. Vendors can feel good about supporting the community while promoting their business or organization. 2014 festival proceeds benefit the United Way of Greenbrier Valley. In partnership, the Lewisburg Chocolate Festival and the United Way of Greenbrier Valley will make a weekend of sweet delights an investment in the community.
