Christmas shopping for Penny Pitch families has ended. Thanks to the staff at Walmart for all of their help! Our wonderful volunteers delivered food boxes last weekend, and thanks to Heritage Farm in Renick, every family got fresh eggs. Greenbrier East Spartan Football team carefully loaded boxes into cars for delivery, and they didn’t break even one egg!
The last part of the program is giving help with utilities. Our donation numbers have jumped considerably over this week, so we will be able to cover costs of food and gifts. We hope to help with bills, but to do so, we still need your help! You can send your donation to Penny Pitch, 383 Alderson St., Lewisburg, WV 24901 or drop it off at the Mountain Messenger or at City Bank in Lewisburg.
