Can you imagine being a child and waking up to nothing on Christmas morning? Or being cold because there’s no money for fuel, or hungry because there is no food? It’s hard to imagine with all that we have in this country that there are some who will find themselves in this situation this year. But there are some in our community for whom this is reality.
We can all help. This community has helped since Penny Pitch was founded in 1987. We are always a little nervous when we start out that the money might not come in, and we were below our goal last year. Still, we managed to help with food and utilities and to meet the needs of many children. Help us meet our goal this year. It’s the perfect time to put away what divides us and work together to help those in need in our community.
