Paul M. Campbell, Jr.
White Sulphur Springs-Paul “Nucky” M. Campbell, Jr., 41, died Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2015, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born Feb. 12, 1974, in Virginia, he was a son of Paul M. and Iona Charlton Campbell.
He was of the Baptist faith. “Nucky” was a former employee of the City Maintenance Crew for the town of White Sulphur Springs. He loved to recycle, hunt, and was a great outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David P. Campbell and his grandmother, Nora Campbell.
Other than his parents, he is survived by: his companion of 14 years, Dawn King at home; three daughters, Madison, Rhianna and Lauryn Campbell at home, and a son, Skylar Campbell of White Sulphur Springs; sisters, Emerald Campbell of White Sulphur Springs, Amanda Campbell of Caldwell, Rose Aleshire of White Sulphur Springs and Pauline Campbell of White Sulphur Springs; brother, Robert Campbell of Covington, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Mar. 23, at the Wild Meadow Baptist Church, Rt. 92, White Sulphur Springs, where Rev. Garrett Bostic and Rev. Lowell O’Dell officiated. Burial followed on the homeplace on Sherman Hollow Road, White Sulphur Springs.
Visitation was at the church before the service.
