Ronceverte-Patricia “Patsy” Morris, 71, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.
Patsy was born Sept. 15, 1947, in Ronceverte, the daughter of the late John H. and Helen G. Eades Persinger.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; was a Preschool Teacher, and a volunteer with Ronceverte Elementary School.
Other than her parents Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” “Poppy” Morris.
Surviving are her daughters, Cathy Morris (Alana Flowers), Carin Baker (Chris) and Amanda Morris (Adam Rosin) all of Ronceverte; her son, Robert Paul Morris (Pam) of Moneta, VA; and grandchildren, Christian, Jacob, Elizabeth, Hunter and Joe.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte with Pastor Dave Stilgenbauer officiating.
The family will receive their family and friends on Friday, Nov. 9, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 373 Pocahontas Avenue, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
