Patricia Grey Bare O’Neil

White Sulphur Springs-Patricia Grey Bare O’Neil, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away Saturday, Apr. 18, 2015, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

She was the youngest child born to Frank Watson Bare and Ida Rippetoe Bare, on Apr. 10, 1925 at Ronceverte.

Pat was a very active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, White Sulphur Springs. Prior to her later years she traveled extensively, enjoyed playing golf, RVing with family, and participating in charitable activities. She was able to enjoy good health and family activities up to and including her 90th birthday party on Apr. 10, 2015, in which she celebrated with all of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: loving husband, C. Vincent O’Neil; brothers, Sterling Bare, Sr. and James Bare; and sisters, Christine Smith, Thelma Fisher, Marjorie Bennett, Frances Lomer and Pauline Bare.

Surviving are: children, Stephen O’Neil (Libby) and Shannan Moran (Donald) of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Meghan Moran, Kevin O’Neil (Courtney), Kelli Dinwiddie (J.D.), Erin O’Neil Farrell (Tom), Kaiti O’Neil (Derrick), Khristopher O’Neil, Hannah Durm (Nick), Ann Marie O’Neil and Nolan O’Neil; great-grandchildren, Beverly George O’Neil, Mac O’Neil, L.W. O’Neil, Aidan O’Neil, Addison O’Neil, Asher O’Neil, Alaina O’Neil, Finnegan O’Neil, Lex Dinwiddie, Riddock Dinwiddie, Reese Dinwiddie, Grace Farrell, Ryan Farrell, Meghan Farrell and Mannix Durm; and constant companion, little Tinker.

Her funeral service was held on Wednesday, Apr. 22, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs where Father Chapin Engler officiated.

Visitation was Tuesday evening, Apr. 21, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Rosary followed at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs.

Patrick David Kelly

Lewisburg-Patrick David Kelly, 62, formerly of Ronceverte, passed away Monday, Apr. 20, 2015, at his residence following a long illness.

He was born Jan. 31, 1953, in Ronceverte, the son of the late L. C. and Henrietta Forren Kelly.

Other than his parents, Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Kelly and Richard “Butch” Kelly and a nephew, Brian.

Pat is survived by: his sisters, Sally Dixon and Nancy Berry and husband Jim all of Ronceverte; brother, Michael Kelly of Waynesboro, VA; niece, Deirdre Ford of Lewisburg and her children, Erik Edward Ford and Haylie Dawn Ford; nephew, Patrick Wayne Kelly of New Port News, VA; sister-in-1aw, Wanita Kelly of New Port News, VA; and several aunts and cousins.

Per Pat’s request there will be no services.
