Aug. 10, 1936 – Sept. 11, 2021

New Port Richey, FL– Patricia Davis Hutchinson, 85, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 at her home in New Port Richey, FL, surrounded by her four children. Patricia was born in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Francis Sidney Davis, Esq., and Ethel Jones Davis.

Patricia, fondly known as Pat, grew up in Lewisburg and attended Old Stone Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Greenbrier College for Women in 1956 and married her high school sweetheart George the same year. Pat called Lewisburg home even though she resided in Florida since 1970. Pat enjoyed a career in banking, retiring as a vice president in 1990. She also enjoyed managing a dental practice after her banking career, keeping her active and social in her community. Her hobbies included genealogy, antiquing, and traveling. After retirement, Pat enjoyed several trips to Europe and countless trips to visit her family all over the United States.

Pat is survived by her four children, Anne Fitzgerald (John), Irvine, California; Sheila Howes Hutchinson, Burke, Virginia; George Hutchinson Jr. (Jeanie), Canal Fulton, Ohio; and Ted Hutchinson (Kelley), New Port Richey, Florida. Pat was immensely proud of her 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pat’s brother, Michael Davis (Judy), Southern Pines, NC, and sister, Sheila Davis Macon (Dick), Southern Pines, NC, also survive her. Pat’s beloved husband George passed away on Aug. 11, 2021, just a month before her passing.

Pat’s greatest joy was her family, especially her husband of 65 years.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in Lewisburg in November.
