P. Audrey Lochinger Eggleston

Fort Mitchell, KY-P. Audrey Lochinger Eggleston, 87, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY, following a sudden illness.

Born June 5, 1926, in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Talma McAllister Lochinger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Homer Alfred Eggleston, Sr. on Mar. 4, 2010.

Mrs. Eggleston worked for the I.R.S. for many years and was a member of the VFW Ralph Fulton Post 6423.

Survivors include: two daughters, Maxine Newman of Florence, KY and Jeanette Scott of Beckley; two sons, Al Eggleston of Fort Mitchell, KY and Johnny Eggleston of Union, KY; two sisters, Lillian Gallop and Lucille Durham both of Rocklin, CA; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Lobban Funeral Home Chapel, Alderson, where the Rev. Frank Jones officiated.

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Alderson.

Friends called before the service Saturday, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Ralph Fulton Post #6423, 4435 Dixie Hwy., Elsmere, KY 41018.
