Ronceverte-Oscar Hamilton Morgan, 89, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Stonerise Lewisburg.

Born Aug. 6, 1932, in Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Carl Rodger and Madeline Zell Morgan.

Oscar retired from The Greenbrier, was a member of the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church and was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He was a wealth of knowledge in ancestry and enjoyed talking about your ancestral history. Oscar attended many funerals, family reunions and never missed an opportunity for a meal or ice cream!

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Hazel Honaker Morgan and Margie Dean Morgan; sisters, Barbara Lindsey and Joanna Seldomridge; and brothers, Kent, and Elwood Morgan.

Survivors are a caretaker, Phyllis Whitlock Jones; special friends with whom he made his home, Jimmie, and Judy Hammons; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Norvel Mann officiating.

Burial will follow in the Adwell Cemetery, Ronceverte, WV. 

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 24, at the funeral home.
