Laurine Yates will present a one-person exhibit of her paintings at the Greenbrier Valley Visitor Center starting on July 5.
Laurine has been involved with art all her life and has worked in various mediums. She has also taught art locally for many years. She has been accepted by Tamarack and has been in numerous art shows. The name of her exhibit is “Connections.” The theme is connecting her love of nature with her love of painting. Her paintings are mostly landscapes which she has an intimate relationship with, places she loves and knows, and she says her idea is to share her love of place and the emotion connection with it. Her exhibit will be at the visitor center until the 31st of July.
