Once again Northern Greenbrier Latchkey Kids will open in Frankford on the first day of school to welcome the children of the Renick, Frankford, Williamsburg areas to after school care. We first opened in March 1995, and are still located in the basement of the Frankford Presbyterian Church. Although housed in a church, Latchkey makes no effort to teach religious education. The directors of this program are made up of representatives of the churches who started this program (Spring Creek, Frankford and Woodland Presbyterian) and also parents and other community members. Latchkey is open from 3 till 6 p.m. when school is in session. We will also be open on days of early dismissal due to weather conditions.

There is a sign-up fee of $25 per family and the daily fee is $8 per child. This year we plan to extend the enrollment and avoid a waiting list.

If you would like to learn more about our program or have children you would like to enroll contact: Genelle Flippin, chairperson, at 304-497-2574 or Marilyn Hughes at 304-497-2982 for a registration form.
