Nick Stavern Brackenrich

Lewisburg-Nick Stavern Brackenrich, born Mar. 13, 1969, to the late Fred and Dotty Brackenrich, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, following an acute illness at Johns Hopkins Memorial Hospital.

Including his parents, Nick was proceeded in death by his brother, Dexter Brackenrich of Ronceverte.

Nick was a loving father to his two children, McCaden and Mallorie Brackenrich, and the best Pop-Pop to his granddaughter, Ava Lane Brackenrich. Others left to cherish their memories of him are a loving significant other, Dee Russell; a sister, Rebecca (Lynn) Williams; two nieces, Lavon (Kevin) Brown and Autumn (Thomas) Hayes; four great-nieces and nephews, Brayden and Brody Brown, and Kayleigh and Brynleigh Hayes; a lifetime friend, John (Heather) Ratliff; along with many other close family and friends.

Nick was an employee at Greenbrier Motor Company for 23 years. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs (Gunner & Clyde), the outdoors, and his family. 

A celebration of life was held Thursday evening, Dec. 9, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV.  Visitation was Thursday at the funeral home before the service.
