The New River Community and Technical College Office of Workforce Education will offer a course for EMT-M recertification on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Workforce WV Building in Summersville.
Lisa Wix, an instructor with RESA V, will conduct the course which meets all requirements for recertification. EMT-M is a certification for those trained to provide emergency medical care in the event of mining accidents. Pre-registration is required as there are limited seats available. Tuition is $50.
