The conference will take place at New River’s Greenbrier Valley Campus located at 101 Church Street in Lewisburg. The 2014 Conference is a valuable resource for business owners to learn how to use marketing strategies to grow and strengthen their business.

The conference will begin at 8 a.m. with registration and breakfast on the ground floor of Greenbrier Hall. The program will begin at 8:45 a.m. with an “Ask an Expert” session. Marketing experts, business owners, and others will join together to discuss marketing strategies and provide insight into how to use different approaches in marketing. Attendees will be given an opportunity to ask questions during the “Ask an Expert” session.

Everyone is encouraged to bring plenty of business cards for great networking opportunities throughout the day. Breakout sessions will begin at 11:15 a.m. Participants will be able to choose between different sessions throughout the conference. Topics to be presented are: Marketing from a Business Owner Perspective; How to Use Social Media as a Marketing Tool (Linkedin; Instagram; Etsy; & more); Marketing Tips & Tricks for Your Business; Tags, Packaging, Branding & More; How the WV Dept. of Agriculture Can Help You Grow Your Business; and Marketing Your Product to the Federal Government.

Breakfast and a networking lunch will be provided. Cost of the conference is $55 per person; $45 per person for Chamber and CVB members. Businesses may reserve a display table for $25 per table. This would be a great opportunity to showcase your business.

Parking will be available in the lot behind Greenbrier Hall. New River will be on spring break, so space will be available and parking permits will not be required.

Registration is available online at www.westvirginiawbc.org or by calling 304-253-3145. Online registration and online payment will be accepted until Monday, Mar. 10. For additional information call 304-253-3145.
