New River Community and Technical College will host two financial workshops presented by AXA Advisors, LLC at the Greenbrier Valley Campus in May.
“Financial Strategies for Women” will be held at 7 p.m. on May 12. The workshop is designed to empower women to excel in managing their finances and will discuss issues specific to women’s personal and financial concerns for each stage of life. Pre-registration is requested by May 8.
“Planning Your Great Escape – Retirement” will be held at 7 p.m. on May 19. The workshop will show you how to make the most of your asset-building years, including information on how to receive retirement savings tax breaks, how to maximize Social Security and Medicare benefits, and how to pass along income to heirs at the end of life. Pre-registration is requested by May 15.
