Two community education classes will be held at New River Community and Technical College’s Greenbrier Valley Campus in April.

Basic Computer Classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. from Apr. 16 through May 7. Instructor: Deena Rodgers. This workshop will teach basic computer skills and an introduction to Microsoft Word. The content will include instruction on how to Google information; how to create folders; how to save and manage files; and how to upload pictures. The cost is $100. Please register by Apr. 9.

A Comprehensive Ammunition Reloading Course will be held on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. from Apr. 23 through May 14. Instructor: Kenny Hayes. The workshop will include instruction on how to reload your own ammunition, which may offer cost savings and improved accuracy over store-bought ammunition. The cost is $100, not including the textbook “Reloading Manual 49th Edition.” There also will be a supply fee based upon the caliber of the weapon not to exceed $50. A gun is not required for this class, and there are no guns allowed on campus. Please register by Apr. 13.

All classes will be held at the New River CTC, Lee Street Complex (former Lewisburg Elementary School) in Lewisburg. For additional information or to register for classes call 304-793-3001 or 304-793-6101.

New River Community and Technical College serves nine counties in southeastern West Virginia from the Greenbrier Valley Campus (Lewisburg), Mercer County Campus (Princeton), Nicholas County Campus (Summersville), and Raleigh County Campus (Beaver/Beckley).
