White Sulphur Springs Mayor Lloyd Haynes and the entire city council were sworn into office on Tuesday evening at city hall, to the applause of families and friends. Once again donning his flowing black robe for the ceremonial swearing in, Judge James J. Rowe officiated, stating, “There is no higher calling than public service.” After the ceremonies, the entire gathering enjoyed refreshments as they celebrated the start of their new terms.
