All the buzz around Lewisburg this Christmas season is the release of Late for the Sky’s newest custom board game, “Lewisburg-opoly.”
Picking up a copy of Lewisburg-opoly, one is immediately struck by the neat design, crisp illustration, and the creativity involved.
The rules are exactly like the original Monopoly game we all know and love, but this holiday season you may find yourself, four hours and a dozen sugar cookies later, haggling not for St. James Place or Pennsylvania Avenue, but rather for General Lewis Inn or Lost World Caverns.
The local theme extends to every property on the board, as players can vie for a chance to buy up as much of Lewisburg and the surrounding area as possible.
Despite its familiar shape and color, the utilities, cards, have seen innovative re-imaging, and various other features have been added to the game to spice it up and make for a unique gaming experience alongside the classic framework of Monopoly.
Truly a one of a kind custom commissioned piece from Late for the Sky, out of Cincinnati, this new spin on an old classic is made completely from recycled materials, as all of their games are. The Ohio-based company boasts of continuing to find even more sustainable options going forward.
