The ninth annual Nettlefest, a music festival celebrating High Rocks Educational Corporation and our community of alumni, supporters and friends, will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The festivities will include live music and fun activities for the kids. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the day. This year High Rocks is also celebrating its 20th anniversary, so it is a great opportunity for High Rocks alumni and community members to join in and see all the exciting work that has been done over the past 20 years.
Musical guests include local legends the Black Mountain Bluegrass Boys and the Bing Brothers, as well as a special performance by High Rocks participants.
Nettlefest will be held at the High Rocks Educational Corporation campground, located near Hillsboro. Pre-purchased tickets are $10 for adults, $15 at the door. Admission is free for youth 17 and under.
For tickets and driving directions, call 304-653-4891 or visit www.highrocks.org.
