Rupert-Nellie Virginia Hinkle, 80, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her home in Rupert.
She was born Mar. 7, 1936, at Maxwelton, a daughter of the late Cecil Theodore and Alma Sue Gabbert Withrow.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Rupert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lloyd Hinkle; two daughters, Nancy Joe Hinkle and Barbara Ann Hinkle; son, Robert Lee Hinkle; great-grandson, Robert; five brothers and sisters, Dorothy Loudermilk, Paul Withrow, James Withrow and two infant sisters, Laura Withrow and Dollie Mae Withrow; and two stepsons, Robert Cecil Hinkle and Roger Garland Hinkle.
She is survived by: daughter, Becky Hinkle and companion Kurt O’Brien of Ronceverte; three sons, Russell Allen Hinkle and wife Jackie Ann of Lewisburg, Doug Hinkle of Anjean and Jerry Lee Withrow and wife Virginia of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Zachary, Kelli, Summer, Robbie, Wyatt, Bryanna, Kole, Jake, Robert, Roger, Chrystal, Jeremy, Scott, Amy, Kayla and Travis; great-grandchildren, Elayana, Taylor, Saydee, Cadence, Jalen, Sabrina, Brittany, Ezra, Autumn, April, Victoria, Robert and Nikki; two greatgreat-grandchildren, Paiten and Willow; two sisters, Zelda Withrow of Fairlea and Bessie Wamsley of St. Paul, MO; brother, Junior T. Withrow and wife Rosalee of Maxwelton; and three stepsons, Scott Nicely Hinkle and wife Ann of Seneca, NC, Darrell Hinkle of Ronceverte and Delbert Hinkle of Front Royal, VA.
Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Elder of the Church, Gary Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
The family received friends on Thursday evening, June 30, at the funeral home in Lewisburg.
Pallbearers will be: Tony Hinkle, Jeff Thomas, Roger Hinkle, Ray Feamster, Randy Osborne, Mitchell Withrow, Vaden Loudermilk and David Spitzer.
