Alderson Manor will host free, confidential memory screenings from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of National Memory Screening Day on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
National Memory Screening Day is an initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and is conducted at over 2,000 sites nationwide in observance of Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month. The goals of this event are to educate the public about Alzheimer’s disease and successful aging, and eliminate the stigma and fears associated with dementia.
