Nancy Mason Thomas
Lewisburg-Nancy Mason Thomas, 79, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 15, 1935, at Auto, the only child of the late James Bryson and Hattie Grey Bruffey Copeland.
Nancy was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church, a member of the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society and the American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Thomas in 1988.
She is survived by: two sons, Mark Thomas and wife Linda of Leesburg, VA and Tony Thomas of Dunn, NC; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Thomas of Chicago, IL, Kaitlin Thomas and Christian Thomas both of Leesburg, VA, and Lisa Thomas Aiken and Eric Thomas both of Dunn, NC.
Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas was held Sunday, Jan. 11, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where Rev. Rick Brown officiated. Interment was in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
The family received their family and friends Saturday evening, Jan. 10, at the funeral home.
