<strong><img class="wp-image-32552 alignleft" src="https:\/\/mountainmedianews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2018\/05\/NANCY-KING-obit.jpg" alt="" width="217" height="280" \/>Alderson\u00a0<\/strong>- Nancy Leigh \u201cHuggy\u201d McDowell King, 42, passed away Saturday, Apr. 28, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.\r\n\r\nShe was born May 26, 1975, in Ronceverte, to Robert Clyde McDowell, III and the late Rose Marie Long McDowell.\r\n\r\nNancy was a homemaker and a member of the Union Church of God.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband, Christopher King; daughter, Summer Rose King of Alderson; sons, Caleb Andrew King and companion Kimberly Johnson of Fairlea, and Christopher \u201cGarion\u201d King of Alderson; grandmother, Margaret Clark of Union; father-in-law, Eric \u201cLeroy\u201d King of Alderson; mother-in-law, Nellie King of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Spencer Alethia King and River Andrew King; sisters, Cheryl Highlander and husband Frank of Union, Tracy Perkins of Gap Mills and Kelly McDowell of Covington, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nFuneral services were conducted Thursday, May 3, at the Union Church of God where Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Todd Baker officiated.
