Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Nancy L. “Nan” Morgan, was called home with her family by her side on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 at the age of 68.
Born Apr. 19, 1953 in Ronceverte, she was a daughter of the late Larry James Morgan and Bernice Lee Charlton Morgan.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Morgan.
She was of the Christian faith. “Nan” had worked in the housekeeping department at The Greenbrier Hotel.
Survivors include a daughter, Sonja Flora; granddaughter, Amanda Flora; sisters, Cheryll Morgan, Rita Wilhelm (Steve), Laura Morgan and Bonnie Morgan.
Graveside service was held on Sunday, Dec. 5, at Morgan Cemetery where Rev. Charles Scruggs officiated. The family received their family and friends before the service Sunday afternoon at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
Active pallbearers were Bruce Scruggs, Amanda Flora, Steve Wilhelm, Keith Scruggs and Steve Baker.
