Trillium Performing Art’s Jan. 16 installment of the ever popular, family friendly, Friday Night Alive will be taking place from 7 to 8 p.m. on the Historic Lewis Theatre stage, 113 N Court in Lewisburg. The show will feature four musical acts, one or two dance pieces and some surprises. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students and AmeriCorps members and free for children under six. The myth of Persephone and Demeter, a winter tale, is to be performed by Samara Michaelson, Natalie Roper and Sarah Hann. Sarah will also do a world beat vocal and percussion solo. Dave Buhrman returns with his acoustic guitar, presenting popular covers and sing-alongs. Eclectic Americana describes the musical style of Don and Tracy Steck, on stage with Mike Clark. Additional acts to be announced.

Trillium encourages artistic expression and creative opportunities through education, participation and performance. If you would like to be on stage at a future Friday Night Alive! please contact Trillium via email at trilliumdancewv@gmail.com or by phone at 304-645-3003.
