“Our county is facing a drug epidemic that is dangerous and destructive. Fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other illicit substances are claiming lives, tearing apart families, and fueling crime throughout our communities. As law enforcement leaders, we are united in our commitment to confront this crisis head-on. That includes aggressively prosecuting traffickers, increasing drug interdiction efforts, and working with our federal and state partners to target the criminal networks behind this devastation,” said Prosecutor Campbell and Sheriff Baker in a joint statement.
