On Oct. 24, the animal league will hold their annual auction and dinner in the Lindside United Methodist Church community center. Doors will open and dinner will be served starting at 3 p.m. This year’s fare will include barbecue with all the fixings, dessert, and drink for $8.
The event will include the popular balloon raffle, a silent auction, and a live auction beginning at 5 p.m. The balloon raffle will run from 4 p.m. until just before 5 p.m. The silent auction will run concurrently with other activities during the afternoon and evening, from 3-7 p.m.
There will be a fine selection of auction items including art, jewelry, pet items, certificates for services and outdoor activities, handcrafted treasures, home décor, gourmet items, housewares, clothing, books and much more.
This year’s auction will also include the following exciting memorabilia (minimum bids will apply): Eric Clapton autographed album, Tim McGraw autographed sheet music, “Duck Dynasty” cast autographed poster, “Frozen” cast autographed art, “Downton Abbey” cast autographed poster, Bon Jovi autographed electric guitar, Sylvester Stallone autographed boxing gloves, and a James Bond movie poster autographed by all six lead actors.
Volunteer auctioneers for the evening will be Allen Crawford, Wes Crawford, Coy Archer, Marion Bradley, Trevor Neel and Bill Rose.
