Greenbrier County wrestling champions!
If that has a familiar sound to it, it’s because Greenbrier East has won the county championship match the last four years in a row. Wow! Every year it is a hard-fought battle that gets very loud, crazy, wild and exciting. This year they are the #1 State ranked “A” team in West Virginia. They are a very good team and we will be cheering them on in Huntington to win another state title. We have built a good relationship with their coaches and wrestlers through respect. Competition and local rivalries are good for sports. Again, it was a fun event with many wrestlers given an opportunity to shine!
