Lewisburg-Mildred “Millie” Proud passed peacefully away early Saturday morning, Mar. 16, 2019, at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.
She was lovingly surrounded by family during her time at Hospice.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Proud; children, Jean and Joe Kirk, Diane and Charlie Caddock, Priscilla Proud and William Proud; grandchildren, Tyler and Joy Kirk; sisters, Marcia Hofmann and Marilyn Beebe.
The family will have a “Celebration of Life Ceremony” for her at the Lewisburg Methodist Church on May 18, at 2 p.m.
