Hot Springs, VA-Mildred \u201cMillie\u201d Mary Green Redman, 90, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at her sister\u2019s home.\r\nShe was born Mar. 19, 1925, in Frankford, WV, the daughter of the late Jasper Green and Vicie Agnes Boothe Green.\r\nMillie was formerly employed at Gerber Baby Foods in Fremont, Michigan, as a research technician.\r\nShe graduated from Frankford High School and Berea College in Kentucky. Millie was a teacher of Home Economics and an active and faithful member of the Hot Springs Baptist Church for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved the outdoors and working in the garden with flowers. Millie was an excellent seamstress and cook and loved to travel.\r\nMillie is survived by: her daughter, Josephine King and husband Harvey of Bastrop, TX; grandchildren, Stephen Redman, Dana Redman, Suzanne Redman, David Crisler, Phillip Crisler, Daniel King, Christopher King and Bianca Welch; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, William Alvin Green and wife Shirley of Frankford and Edward Jasper Green of Columbus, IN; sister, Glenna Runyon of Hot Springs, VA; daughter-in-law, Patricia Redman of White Cloud, MI; special niece and caregiver, Carolyn Runyon Tingler of Covington, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Gustav Redman, Sr., her son Gustav \u201cSonny\u201d Redman, Jr.; sisters, Alline Mae Brenneman, Vada Elizabeth Green and Orbi Della Green; brothers-in-law, Richard Brenneman and John Runyon; and granddaughter, Tammy Crisler.\r\nA funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29, at Hot Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Garland Humphries officiating. Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery.\r\nPallbearers will be Ryan Scyphers, Justin Scyphers, Jimmy Ditty, Roger May, Sam Campagna, Jr. and Tommy Seabolt.\r\nThe family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.\r\nMemorial contributions may be made to Mt.
