Alderson-Michael Ray “Mike” Kincaid, 66, passed away from natural causes on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at his home in Alderson.

Born Nov. 28, 1953, in Hinton, he was the son of the late Richard Ray Kincaid and the late Shirley Rae Holcomb Kincaid.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Danny Ray Kincaid; paternal grandfather, Samuel Walter Kincaid; maternal grandmother, Muriel Jefferies; and nephew, Richard Allen Kincaid.

Mike was of the Baptist faith and always loved his music, art, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his only sister, Ruth Kincaid Barb of Marlinton; three brothers, Samuel Kincaid and wife Vickey of Hillsboro, Richard Kincaid and wife Kim of Alderson, and David Kincaid and wife Jennifer of Fincastle, VA; stepmother, Evelyn Harless; and an uncle, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Lobban Funeral Home Chapel in Alderson, where Pastor Randy Burdette officiated. Burial followed in the Alderson Cemetery in Alderson.

Friends called Thursday, at the funeral home before the service.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.
