Ronceverte-Michael Pete “Mitch” Morris, 41, passed away at his home on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, in Ronceverte with his caregivers by his side.

Mitch was born Dec. 7, 1973, in Ronceverte and was the son of the late Bertie May Morris Richmond.
He is survived by: his sister, Marie Swiger of Princeton, WV; two nieces, Emma Pearl and Patricia Marie Swiger; aunt, Betty Hoke of Union; uncles, Frankie Morris of Ronceverte, Michel Morris of Lewisburg and Timothy Morris of Kentucky; and caregivers, Patrick and Meredith Walker.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Highland Park Cemetery at Second Creek where Pastor John Groves officiated.
Visitation was before the service at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
Pallbearers were: Patrick Walker, Ty Walker, Ragan Bostic, Trevor Mayhew, Jay Reynolds, Brett Sheppard and Ray Simmons.
