A meth lab was revealed after a fire was extinguished at Fair Oaks Trailer Park in Fairlea late in the day on Tuesday, June 3. According to Sgt. G. R. Workman of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, both Lewisburg and Fairlea fire departments responded to the report of a fire in an outbuilding on the trailer park grounds at 7:45 p.m. After extinguishing the fire, the “clandestine lab” was discovered. The fire crews called the Sheriff’s Department and the WV State Police who interviewed several individuals at the park residence. No arrests were made, however, according to the West Virginia Daily News, Sgt. Workman said an arrest is expected pending further investigation. No injuries were reported from the fire.
