Although much of the debris was cleared from Memorial Park in White Sulphur Springs many months ago, work on the soil has waited until now. Heavy machinery rests on the softball field, where the top soil has been removed, with any contamination that it might hold. Residents are hoping kids will be able to play ball there before the summer is gone.
