Melinda “Mindy” Jo Feamster Napier, 54, of Alderson passed Sept. 28, 2025, at Memorial Division of CAMC, Charleston, WV.

Mindy was born on Jan. 22, 1971, and grew up in Ronceverte. She graduated from Greenbrier East High School, class of 1989.
She worked various jobs such as doctor’s offices, WVSOM, adult services, and worked in child care.
She was a faithful church goer and loved the Lord. She helped run the “Longhorn” for its 6 years of operation, and lead the line dance group, the “Sole Destroyers,” but Mindy’s biggest love was babysitting.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sonnie Feamster, grandmothers, Ina Sims and Lena Feamster, and her grandfathers, Carl Sims and George Feamster; and an uncle, Tom Sims.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Ray Napier; her children, Kadee Jo Napier, Zackary Thomas Napier and Carley Jean Napier; grandchildren, Addie Mae Napier and Oaklyn Shae Wilson; father, Henry Feamster and wife, Dru; and siblings, Missy Hill and husband Ronnie, Chris Feamster and wife, Becky and Amy Feamster. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Taylor Lester and husband Cody, their child, Hudson Lester; Mackenzie Feamster and fiancée, Joey Powell, Walker Hager, Kacie Feamster, Ashton Hill, John (LJ) McClung and Clayton McClung.
Mindy’s Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Napier family to help with funeral expenses.
