Meet Chef April Hamilton at Bella the Corner Gourmet!

On Saturday, Aug. 8, you are invited to join us at Bella the Corner Gourmet for gourmet food samplings, wine tastings, and fun during Lewisburg Literary Festival! Chef April Hamilton will be here autographing her recent cookbook called, “Counter Intelligence: The Best of April’s Kitchen.” It’s sold here at the shop and is filled with dozens of smart and delicious recipes that are straightforward and healthy. $5 from every book sale goes toward “Snacks in Packs,” a food program currently helping over 700 children in eight of the nine Greenbrier County elementary schools.

Our chef will be here from 12 noon – 3 p.m. sharing what inspires her – Kathryn Stockett’s “The Help.” Chef Hamilton’s mother grew up in Alabama and she learned to cook from her family’s “help.” These southern recipes were passed down to Chef Hamilton.
