<a href="https:\/\/mountainmedianews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2016\/04\/Maxine-McKnight_0001.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-18027" alt="Maxine McKnight_0001" src="https:\/\/mountainmedianews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2016\/04\/Maxine-McKnight_0001-210x300.jpg" width="210" height="300" \/><\/a>Rainelle-Maxine V. McKnight, 92, of passed away Tuesday, Mar. 29, 2016, at Greenbrier Manor in Fairlea.\r\nBorn July 13, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Claude E. Vance and Mildred G. Vance.\r\nMaxine graduated from Rainelle High School and worked as a licensed Insurance Agent with the Rainelle Insurance Agency, retiring after 52 years.\r\nShe was a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews who will be left with wonderful memories. She was especially cherished by her caregiver\/niece, Jamie Harvey and family. She was married for 57 years to the love of her life, James \u201cMickey\u201d McKnight. She was a past member of the CEOS, Modern Woodsmen of America and the Highland Church of God in Rainelle.\r\nShe was preceded in death by: her parents, Claude E. and Mildred G. Vance; the love of her life, James \u201cMickey\u201d McKnight; sisters, Virginia Yeargo and Maude V. Price; brother, Claude E. \u201cPunk\u201d Vance, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Nick Yeargo, CW Price, Lawrence \u201cBuck\u201d Persinger, Glenn McKnight and John Gavanus; and sister-in-law, Lilian Gavanus.\r\nSurviving her are: brother, James \u201cJim\u201d Vance and wife Shirley; sister, Evon A. Persinger; and sister-in-law, Addie Vance.\r\nGraveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Apr. 1, at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Robert O.
