Registration is now open for the 2025 annual Master Gardeners Conference to be held Apr. 11-13 at Canaan Valley Resort and State Park. If you love to garden and are eager to participate in a weekend long educational event, check out the Master Gardeners 2025 annual conference.

There is something for everyone. Are you a backyard gardener? Interested in small scale food production? There will be a class for you. Three glorious days of training will cover a wide variety of topics such as: Landscape Design, Native Gardening and every hosta lover’s favorite, Keeping the Wildlife Out of Your Garden (hope springs eternal). Speaking of wildlife, the final class on Sunday is “From Farm to Foam; Exploring Hop Varieties for West Virginia’s Unique Beer Terroir. Clearly a well rounded and exciting offering of classes for a variety of interests and skill levels.

For more information and to register for some or all the events http://www.wvemga.org.

Master Gardeners are volunteers who are trained in research-based small-scale food production, horticulture, and gardening through the training course. The program helps residents better understand horticultural and environmental issues through community engagement in gardening and beautification projects at schools, parks, public institutions, community organizations, and locations throughout Greenbrier County!

For further information and to learn more about the Master Gardener program call the Greenbrier County Extension Office at 304-647-7408. Contact Mary Dameron.
