White Sulphur Springs-Mary Louise Waid, 72, passed away on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center.
Born Dec. 17, 1942, in Zenith, WV, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Gallagher Lively.
Mary was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence William Waid in 2003; four brothers, Andy, Albert, Bill and Joe Gallagher; and sister, Imogene Mandy.
Survivors include: daughter, Janette Gallagher of Frankford; son, James Gallagher of Lewisburg; two sisters, Martha Pitts of Taylorsville, NC and Carol Brown of Ronceverte; two sisters-in-law, Nellie Hurley and Vaida Waid; and brother-in-law, Nelson Waid. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her service was conducted Saturday, Nov. 28, in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home where Rev. Lowell O’Dell and Rev. Roger McDaniel officiated. Interment was in the Alvon Methodist Church Cemetery, Alvon.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service.
