Frankford-Mary Lockhart Gillilan George, 94, passed away Thursday, Apr. 10, 2014, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born July 16, 1919, at Frankford, she was a daughter of the late Richard Addison and Florence Bell Scruggs Gillilan.

Mary was a resident of The Brier, a member of Frankford United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hunter George; two daughters, Pat Osborne and Kay Decker; sister, Virginia Hughes; and three brothers, William Gillilan, Richard Gillilan and John Gillilan.

Survivors include: daughters, Jean Livesay (Lewis) of Finley, OH, Mary Ruth Seldomridge of Lewisburg, Olive Fisher (Price) of Renick, Sarah Workman of Ronceverte and Judith Brown (Bob) of Frankford; two sons, Sam George (Irene) of White Sulphur Springs and Jim George of Loveland, OH; two sons-in-law, Collin Osborne of Belleview, FL and Jimmy Decker of Baltimore, MD; also surviving are 35 grand and great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, Apr. 14 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, where Rev. Phil Hickman officiated.

Burial was in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.

The family received friends Monday at the funeral home before the service.
