Mary B. Nickell Foundation, Inc. accepting grant requests

The Mary B. Nickell Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, is now accepting grant requests from qualified organizations for suitable projects and purposes in Greenbrier County.
The Foundation was organized for the charitable and educational purposes of administering funds entrusted to it for the promotion of the arts and for educational purposes to encourage the development and appreciation of the arts and for the promotion of the happiness and well-being of the community centered in and around Greenbrier County, by expending funds itself for such purposes and in cooperation with institutions qualified to carry out these objectives most efficiently, all to the end of benefiting charity.
You may request a grant form by email to jjohnson@firstcentury.com or by mail to First Century Bank, Inc. Attn: Julie Johnson, P.O. Box 1559, Bluefield, WV 24701. Grant requests must be postmarked by Sept. 30.
The Mary B. Nickell Foundation, Inc. reserves the right to make awards in its sole discretion and without explanation as to any decisions made or denial of requests.
