Lewisburg-Mary Alice Persinger, 75, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Mary was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Lawton, Fayette County, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Adam and Hallie Patterson Harmon.
She was a former Postmaster for The Greenbrier Hotel with 30 years of service.
Preceding Mary in death other than her parents were her husbands, John Hundley and Johnny Persinger; sisters, Clara and Delores; and brothers, Harry and Adam Harmon.
Surviving are her step-daughter, Jennifer Nichols (Joe) of Max Meadows, VA, and their children, McKenzie, Brayden and Caleb; sisters, Norma Gunter of Meadow Bridge, Jean McMillion of Renick and Ruth Huffman of Lewisburg; brother, Larry Harmon (Katherine) of Rainelle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday May 15, at 2 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Lewis Brooks officiating.
