Marion County to host History Expo

On Saturday, Mar. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., come to the Mountaineer State History Expo. The Marion County Historical Society, Inc. & Museum, in cooperation with the Marion County Commission present the expo at the Marion County Courthouse on Adams Street in Fairmont.
Discover the rich history of Marion County and the state of West Virginia through historically-themed exhibits from the many individuals and organizations that strive to preserve our precious local and state history.
There will be live music, singing and dancing, Civil War re-enactors, living history interpreters in period dress, and a hot dog and bake sale.
The event is free and open to the public.
