Frankford-Marianna Hayes Hanna, 80, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at the White Sulphur Springs Center in White Sulphur Springs.
Born Aug. 6, 1939, in East Rainelle, she was the daughter of the late Marion Watts Hayes and the late Mary Edgar McClung Hayes.
She graduated from both Lewisburg High School and Concord College, she was a retired teacher, a former member of Old Stone Presbyterian Church, and was a current member of Frankford Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Powers Hanna, granddaughter, Faith Hanna and grandson, Brady Powers Mickey.
Surviving are her children, Michele Lyn Hanna of Frankford, Michael Lee Hanna and wife Shane of Ronceverte, Peri Ann Hanna Mickey and husband Robert of Pittsfield, MA, and Cary Douglas Hanna and wife Cheryl of Frankfort, KY; grandchildren, Patrick Mickey and fiancee Ashley Brandies, Ryan Mickey and fiancee Erica Allen, Keegan Mickey, Josie Hanna, Mikayla Hanna, Jake Hanna and Brooke Hanna; great-grandchildren, Maisey Mickey and Jonas Mickey.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon Friday, Sept. 20, at Frankford Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Susan Sharp Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.
Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
