Greenbrier Public Service District No. 1 announces a planned lane closure of U.S. 219 southbound in Fairlea for sewer line repair beginning Tuesday, Mar. 31.
The District will be repairing the manholes located on the roadway beginning near the intersection of CR 37/9, also known as Third Street, near the CITGO gas station. Traffic will be reduced to one lane to facilitate the work.
Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and devices and use caution while traveling through the work zone. Delays are expected; therefore motorists should allow additional time for their commute or seek alternate routes.
The repair work is expected to take three days. However, please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstance could change the project schedule.
