Lynn Keily Spellman

Sweet Springs-Lynn Keiley Spellman, 73, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, after an extended illness in Colorado Springs, CO.
Born Feb. 22, 1943, in New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Philip Preston and Madeleine Leclercq Keiley.
Lynn was of the Catholic faith. She was a farmer, enjoyed antique car shows, loved classical guitar music and played guitar and piano beautifully. Lynn was a great historian for the Sweet Springs Valley and Monroe County.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Jack Hunter Spellman, May 2, 2009.
She is survived by: daughter, Jackie Spellman of New Orleans, LA; sister, Ann Keiley of Colorado Springs, CO; brother-in-law and special caregiver, Sidney Spellman of Covington, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services were conducted Saturday, May 21, in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, where Rev. Mark Smearman officiated. Burial was in the Lewis Family Cemetery at Sweet Springs.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
