Lucille Mason Davis Wykle

White Sulphur Springs-Lucille Mason Davis Wykle, 91, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, at The Brier.

Born May 20, 1929, at Buena Vista, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Buzz and Mary Agnes Robinson Mason.

Lucille loved cooking, eating and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Davis and her second husband, Zernie Wykle; daughters, Jeanette Treynor and Peggy Davis; stepchildren, William, Edgar, Hubert and Kenny Wykle, Ilene Cornish; and several sisters.

Survivors include son, Lawrence Davis of Roanoke, VA; stepsons, Lee Wykle (Ann) of Tennessee, James Wykle of Elyria, OH and Richard Wykle of White Sulphur Springs; stepdaughters, Barbara Bostic (Burless) of Maxwelton, Linda Carrington (William) of White Sulphur Springs, Dorothy Harbaugh of White Sulphur Springs, and Margaret Williams of Trout; grandchildren, Mary Fridley (Rennie) of Hematite, WV, Ray Higgins (Shelby) of Staunton, VA and Billy Higgins (Linda) of Callaghan, VA; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiating.

Interment will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista, VA.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9.

We will be following COVID-19 regulations and requests guests wear a mask and be mindful of social distancing.
